Democratic Rep. Mike Quigley said on Tuesday that U.S. policy has been “so altered” and “influenced” by Vladimir Putin under Donald Trump’s presidency.

Quigley, appearing on CNN’s “Situation Room With Wolf Blitzer” (Jim Acosta hosted) said, “I can’t begin to understand the Russian involvement with U.S. policy. I guess I’m beginning to understand it after over a year, the Russian investigation, the extraordinary volume of information about Trump associates communicating, associating and I think coordinating with the Russians.” (RELATED: Trump Speaks With Putin For More Than An Hour)
He continued, saying that U.S. policy has been changed by Putin, without offering any examples.
“It’s the only way I can explain the fact that our policy has been so altered, so influenced by Mr. Putin. It began during the course of the campaign, and in my mind it’s clearly impacting U.S. policy today,” he added. (RELATED: Former Clinton Advisor Calls Trump A Russian ‘Agent’)
