Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Jauan Jennings was recently kicked off of the team after he ripped the coaching staff in an Instagram video.
There’s being dumb and making a mistake, and then there’s what Jennings did in this video. He absolutely unloaded on the coaches, referring to them as “b*tches.”
He also accused the coaching staff of being liars who have ruined the program.
So Tennessee kicked Jauan Jennings off the team for this? There’s no criminal or academic misconduct. Kid is frustrated & has every right to express himself. He’s basically being punished for telling the truth. pic.twitter.com/xGTuMvzu5E

. @UTCoachHoke says through consultation with Tennessee AD John Currie, he has decided to dismiss TN WR Jauan Jennings from the program.

There’s no real positive way to spin this one for Jennings. Even if everything he said is true, you absolutely can’t have a guy on the team who is openly trashing the coaching staff.
Stuff like that needs to only take place in the locker room and it should absolutely under no circumstances ever come out. I hate to see a guy get kicked off a team, but there was nothing else the coaches could do. He had to be removed. Hopefully this serves as a lesson to people everywhere about how nothing good comes from ranting on social media.
