A guy who reportedly took a snooze in a dumpster ended up getting stuck in a garbage truck for hours in Philadelphia on Monday.

A man who was sleeping in a trash bin was tossed into a truck, causing him to get buried under the loose trash for hours, according to police. Firefighters were called to rescue the man after residents told 911 that they heard screaming, reported the Associated Press. It took firefighters two hours to find the man.

The horrific incident happened outside The Kintock Home, a non-profit that serves as a place to help prisoners re-enter society after their time in jail. Authorities originally thought the man was an escapee from the home, but a spokeswoman said that no one was missing from roll call.

The man was taken to the hospital with leg, hip, and abdominal injuries.
