President Donald Trump blasted MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough after Matt Lauer was fired for sexual harassment allegations.
Trump tweeted these remarks and called for an investigation into Scarborough and MSNBC’s president Phil Griffin. Trump asked when NBC would terminate the two, and mentioned the incident when a 28-year-old office worker for Scarborough was found dead in his office while he was a U.S. congressman.
“So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the ‘unsolved mystery’ that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!” Trump tweeted.

Trump’s tweet came as “Today Show” co-host Savannah Guthrie announced the news at the top of the program Wednesday morning.
