Blake Lively Is Barely Recognizable For Her Upcoming Role In ‘The Rhythm Section’

Actors and actresses go through some serious transformations for certain roles and sometimes they are almost unrecognizable as a result. Blake Lively’s latest transformation is one of those rare instances.

The 30-year-old actress made some drastic changes to her appearance for her upcoming role in “The Rhythm Section,” and the photos from the set will have you second guessing whether or not it’s actually her.

Lively ditched her beautiful blonde hair for her part in the upcoming thriller and is sporting a shocking black bob instead. The transformation went mostly unnoticed around the industry, until Lively shared a photo of her new look to Instagram on Sunday.

No, it’s not the blonde beauty we’ve grown accustomed to over the years, but she seems to have a sense of humor about it. Lively captioned the post with nothing but an emoji of a man with dark hair, clearly poking fun at herself for the masculine cut.

While Lively isn’t exactly look her best for the role, it sounds like she’ll be worth watching on the movie based on the thriller novel series by Mark Burnell, E! News reports. In it Lively’s character turns into an assassin to seek revenge on the people responsible for killing her family, which will almost certainly be her edgiest role to date.
