Michigan Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh doesn’t appear happy with in-state rival, Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio.

It appears to have started after Dantonio made comments about Michigan surpassing the Spartans for a spot in the Outback Bowl.

“The records are what they are. I’ll just continue to focus on beating Michigan,” Dantonio said when discussing the topic.

That didn’t sit well at all with Harbaugh. Not one bit. He fired back on Twitter: “Saw Coach D comments on continuing to ‘focus’ on how ‘he’ can beat Michigan. Congrats on turning around a 3-9 team, plagued with off field issues. Good for BIG to have him back.”

This is why I love college football. Harbaugh is so petty that he won’t even use his full name. Bringing up off-the-field issues might even be the funniest part about the whole thing. Most coaches would never dream about commenting on another coach or team’s problems off the gridiron, but Harbaugh just shoots straight for it.

Doesn’t get much better than that. Of course, Harbaugh should probably spend a little more time focusing on trying to finish above fourth in the Big Ten East. Just a suggestion.
