Energy Secretary Rick Perry took the opportunity to pose for pictures in the desert during a visit to Saudi Arabia, according to photos posted to Twitter Monday.
Perry, the former Texas governor, posed for the pictures in the desert during a meeting with the Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid Al-Falih. Al-Falih posted the pictures on his Twitter page.

One picture depicts Perry sitting barefoot on a sand dune in the desert.
Perry thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the leaders for meeting with him.

Perry and Al-Falih agreed Monday to work on a clean fossil fuel project.
“Together through the development of clean energy technologies our two countries can lead the world in promoting economic growth and energy production in an environmentally responsible way,” Perry said in a statement.
