At least three people have been killed in a shooting early Thursday morning at Aztec High School in Colorado.

Two students were killed in the shooting and the shooter is dead as well, according to KRQE News. The Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook that the school was put on lockdown and the students evacuated.

Housing and Urban Development Director Ben Carson tweeted that authorities believe that the dead suspect is Sam Hyde.

The shooting comes a week before the fifth anniversary of the Sandy Hook massacre in Newtown, Conn. that killed 26 people.

This story will be updated as more information about the shooting becomes available.
