Chelsea Handler has been in a petty back and fourth media exchange with White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.

Handler called her a “whore” last week in an interview, critiquing Sanders looks. In response, Sanders father Mike Huckabee went on Fox to critique the comedian. Huckabee said that Handler was “jealous” of his daughter due in part to the abortions she has had. Huck said:

Well, the things that Chelsea handler said were vile and vulgar.

I’m surprised there were not women on the left who had the decency to call her out for this.

I know you are probably expecting me to be very angry about it truthfully when I read what she said and watched it, I felt sorry for her. I feel sad for ChelseaHandler. She seems like a very angry and bitter person. She is almost as old as me.

This is the part of her life she needs to start mellowing out. She seems to be enraged. She boasts about the two abortions she had at 16. In many ways, she is jealous of my daughter. My daughter has a husband who loves her and is wonderful to her. My daughter has three delightful children. She is a happy, balanced person. She enjoys life. She is a pretty straight-laced person. Goes to church and lives a life Chelsea Handler has never known.

Handler is now doubling down on the attacks against Sanders.

Over the weekend, the comedian shared a vicious video making fun of Sanders’ makeup, age and looks.

Ironically, Handler tweeted just minutes before releasing the video about respecting and not “discounting” other women. Handler said:

A feminist GovMikeHuckabee is someone who supports other women. A feminist is someone who believes the accounts of 15 different women who have similar stories about our President. A feminist doesn’t discount other women. Your daughter is not a feminist. You raised a liar.

The irony.
