Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore’s campaign barred Washington Post reporters from an election night event Tuesday, according to CNN host Brian Stelter.
Stelter claims that reporters were denied credentials and simply told “no” when they lobbied for access.

ABC reporter Lauren Walsh also confirmed the report, and said WaPo was notified yesterday that their credentials would not be accepted.

Moore claims that the mainstream media has “harassed” him throughout the campaign over allegations of sexual assault, as WaPo was the first outlet to report women’s claims that Moore assaulted them as teenagers.
Despite the controversy, Moore still managed to gain endorsement of President Donald Trump.
