Democratic New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker said on CNN Wednesday that Democratic New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand criticized Trump “heroically.”

Booker, appearing on CNN’s “Wolf,” addressed the recent war of words between President Trump and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.
Booker said, “I want to focus on the on the substance, not his outrageous rhetoric. When he attacks people like Kirsten Gillibrand, to me, I think it’s vile and despicable, but Kirsten is a person who defends and speaks and stands up heroically for others that are being demeaned and degraded.
