A new trailer for Natalie Portman’s upcoming movie “Annihilation” was released Wednesday morning.
The plot of the movie, according to IMDB, is, “A biologist signs up for a dangerous, secret expedition where the laws of nature don’t apply.”
The new trailer shows Portman in the other “world,” if that’s the best way we can describe it. She rocks an M16 as she tries to fight for survival and answers.
That’s just about all you need to know before firing this one up.
I was pretty big on this movie when the first preview came out in September, but I might be even more amped now. What’s not to love about Portman slinging lead in a trippy alternative reality (or whatever the hell that thing is) as she runs around killing things? That sounds awesome. Everything about the plot sounds awesome.
The person who came up with this concept deserves a medal of some kind because having Portman in a movie where she has to shoot things is always a winning strategy.
