I am certain after watching “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” that Daisy Ridley is about to be our next superstar actress.
Now, let me be clear. She’s already a star. You don’t star in multiple Star Wars film and not become a star, but there’s another level to this.
I don’t say this lightly when I say Ridley is going to own Hollywood within a few years. I was big on her in Episode VII, but I’m huge on her after seeing the newest release.
She brought nothing but pure energy and raw emotion to the screen. There were moments where I wasn’t sure if I was watching Rey on her journey to the light or if I was watching a woman embrace the darkness. The pendulum was constantly swinging. Do you have any idea how hard that is to pull off? I believed she should could go either way at a moment’s notice. That takes true acting skills. That takes LeBron James level eliteness.
What’s conquering Hollywood if you’ve already conquered the Star Wars saga? Mark my words, we’re about to see her have a Natalie Portman like career at a minimum after these films wrap up. It’s going to beautiful and majestic to follow.
