The first trailer for “Sicario 2: Soldado” was released Tuesday, and it’s unreal.
Plot details don’t seem to be widely known, but the YouTube description reads, “A follow-up to the 2015 film, ‘Sicario’, which centers around the escalating war against drugs along the border of the United States and Mexico.”
Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro both return for the sequel to the smash hit “Sicario,” which is one of the coolest movies I’ve ever seen.
Is there an actual chance this might be better than the first one? I know it’s a bold claim, but the trailer is absolutely out of this world. Nothing but Brolin and Del Toro lighting up the bad guys. That’s the definition of a winning plot.
Just give them both guns and get the hell out of the way. It’s the simplest movie plot I’ve ever heard of. Let’s go and get this one fired up!
Lastly, “Sicario” had one of the coolest shootout scenes in a long time.
