U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley didn’t take kindly to a diplomat from a Muslim nation accusing America of “bullying” Wednesday.
Reuters’ Michelle Nichols tweeted Wednesday:
A senior diplomat from a Muslim country, speaking on condition of anonymity, said of @nikkihaley‘s letter: “States resort to such blatant bullying only when they know they do not have a moral or legal argument to convince others.” https://t.co/x86IDjiDyL

Haley responded to Nichols tweet by writing:
Actually it is when a country is tired of being taken for granted.

Since becoming ambassador to the United Nations, Haley has presided over the Trump administration’s decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The U.N. will vote on a resolution condemning America’s decision to move the embassy to Jerusalem Thursday, and Haley said that the U.S. “will be taking names” of countries that vote for it.
