Baseball legend Darryl Strawberry claimed in a recent sit down with Dr. Oz that he used have sex between innings of games.
Strawberry told Dr. Oz in the interview, which aired everywhere Thursday, “In middle of games, yeah, I would go between innings, and stuff like that and run back and have a little party going on.”
He claimed his “pretty cool” teammates covered for him during games.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m finding it a bit hard to believe this was a regular occurrence. Call me crazy, but it seems like this would be pretty hard to pull off. I’ve been around sports my whole life. I’ve seen some insane stuff, but sneaking off to have sex during games seems a bit unrealistic.
Naturally, I have no idea how it worked back in his day, but I’d have to imagine somebody would notice you’re always leaving. That’s not a normal game time activity.
And how would nobody talk about this happening? It’d be a huge story. I could see this happening a handful of times, but I’m just not buying it was regularly pulled off without incident.
