UFC legend Chuck Liddell doesn’t think Floyd Mayweather getting into the octagon is a good idea at all.
“He can’t fight in the UFC. Why would he do that? He’s just gonna get hurt,” Liddell told TMZ when asked about the reports of Mayweather possibly being interested in a UFC fight.
I’ve got to agree with Liddell here. There aren’t many situations where I see Floyd Mayweather stepping into the octagon and leaving without serious problems.
Boxing and MMA are two totally different worlds. We saw with Conor McGregor that crossing over from the UFC to boxing isn’t exactly easy. What makes anybody think Floyd would have an easy time coming over to the UFC.
Don’t get me wrong. The fight would be incredibly entertaining, but it’d be over before anybody even realized what had happened.
That’s simply the reality of the situation.
