President Donald Trump hit 45 percent approval in the daily Rasmussen approval tracking poll Wednesday, marking his highest since November 15.

Trump has hovered in between 40 percent and 46 percent for the majority of his presidency within Rasmussen’s tracking system with an all-time low of 38 percent in early August. The recent uptick in the president’s approval rating tracks with the recent passage of a Republican-led  tax reform bill and the holiday season.

Trump has hit 45 percent or higher on only a few other occasions in recent months within Rasmussen’s tracking database before Wednesday. Prior to Nov 15, the president was last at such a high approval rating in early October and before that in early September.

FiveThirtyEight’s aggregate presidential approval tracking system puts Trump at approximately 37.5 percent approval rating with 56.7 percent of the country disapproving of his performance. Rasmussen, however, was the most accurate poll of the 2016 presidential election.
