Players from the Michigan Wolverines and South Carolina Gamecocks nearly got into a brawl during a pre-bowl game event.
The altercation went down at a scheduled event featuring both teams, and it didn’t look good at all in the video captured of the incident.
Players got into each other’s faces and started shoving. Police eventually had to get involved.

I had pretty much zero interest this game outside of my normal bowl game interest. I was going to watch, make sure Michigan represented the Big Ten reasonably well and then probably never think of this game ever again.
That has most certainly changed! You know things are going to get dirty on the field if players can’t even control themselves during events prior to the bowl game. It’s going to be out of control on the field.
I went from having not much interest to now absolutely watching this game for sure. Hopefully we get some nice melee action.
