White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said ISIS has gone into “retreat” and declared their caliphate “destroyed” on “Fox and Friends” Tuesday.

“The ambitious agenda of President Trump that helped fuel his election over a year ago will continue,” Conway said. “ISIS is in retreat, the caliphate is destroyed. There’s so much that has added to the security and prosperity of Americans in 2017.”

Conway’s assertion is backed up by the numbers, as the fall of Abu Kamal in Syria and recent victories by Iraqi security forces in Qaim and Rawa, have helped contribute to the fall of ISIS. The terrorist organization no longer controls any major parts of Syria or Iraq, Foreign Policy reports.

Thus far ISIS has lost 98 percent of their territory, totaling more than 40,000 square miles, according to Col. Ryan Dillon who is the chief U.S. spokesman for Operation Inherent Resolve.

Conway promised the trend of safety and security would continue into 2018 and listed President Donald Trump’s major policy goals for the new year.

The agenda includes budget caps and a budget deal to cover the next two years, welfare reform, a skills and jobs training program, and infrastructure.

Conway said she hopes the GOP can work with Democrats on these issues to achieve bipartisan reform, but chastised them for walking away from the table on taxes and health care.

“We want Democratic support for these measures. We wanted it on middle class tax cuts, we wanted it to improve the access and availability and affordability of health care,” she concluded.
