Media mogul Matt Drudge sent a scathing tweet about “schizophrenic” former Tump administration advisor Steve Bannon on Wednesday after Bannon accused top Trump campaign officials of treason.

Drudge, who hasn’t hid his distaste for Bannon in the past, asserted that the Breitbart chief’s latest interview demonstrates why he has to have a “small army of bodyguards.”

“No wonder schizophrenic Steve Bannon has been walking around with a small army of bodyguards,” Drudge tweeted.

In an interview for his upcoming Book, Bannon asserted that the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting between Donald Trump Jr., former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, White House advisor Jared Kushner and Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya was “treasonous” and “unpatriotic.” (RELATED: Bannon: Trump Tower Meeting With Russians Was ‘Treasonous’)

Drudge previously knocked Bannon for his support of accused child molester Roy Moore in the Alabama Senate race. When Moore lost to Democrat Doug Jones, Drudge said it was proof that politics should be left to “the professionals.” (RELATED: Matt Drudge Takes Shot At Steve Bannon, Roy Moore)
