Firefighters responded to a fire at the Chappaqua, N.Y., home of Bill and Hillary Clinton Wednesday afternoon, according to local Westchester County news outlet Lohud.com.

The fire occurred in a bedroom and has since been extinguished, according to police scanner reports obtained to Lohud.com.

Hillary returned to her home in the tony New York suburb of Chappaqua, which she paid $1.7 million for in 1999, to convalesce following her 2016 electoral defeat.

Hillary and Bill, who are both often sighted walking their dog around town, received a warm welcome during Chappaqua’s Memorial Day parade roughly six months after she lost the presidential election. The former secretary of state has attracted a great deal of public scrutiny for the revelations included in her recently released tell all book “What Happened,” in which she disparaged a number of fellow Democrats.
