Stephen Colbert has been relentlessly critical of Donald Trump during his time in office but it seems the comedian has finally found something he can get excited about: The Fake News Media Awards.

On Tuesday, Trump announced that he would be announcing “THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR” on Monday recognizing “Dishonesty & Bad Reporting in various categories from the Fake News Media.”

“You know folks, its awards season,” Colbert said on his show Wednesday night. “Sunday is the Golden Globes — I’m not nominated don’t watch — but on Monday there’s an awards show everyone’s going to be glued to,” the late night host said before reading Trump’s tweet live.

“Oh, I will be. I can’t take my eyes off any part of your presidency. It’s like watching a snake swallow democracy,” Colbert said. “Personally I’m excited for The Most Dishonest and Corrupt Media Awards of the year, or, as we call ’em in the biz, ‘The Fakies.’ Because nothing gives you more credibility than Donald Trump calling you a liar, and I, of course, don’t want to get snubbed.”

Colbert has even started a campaign for Trump’s awards and even placed a billboard in Times Square, listing the categories he would like to be considered for including, “Least Breitbarty,” “Fakest Dishonesty,” “Corruptess Fakeness,” and “Dishonestest Corruption.”

Good luck to you, Mr. Colbert.
