MSNBC’s Katy Tur accidentally called Michael Wolff’s book full of “fantasy” during an interview with the “Fire and Fury” author.
WATCH:
Many members of the press have questioned the credibility of Wolff’s book over getting basic details incorrect, such as when John Boehner resigned as Speaker of the House, and Wolff’s own admission that he can’t be certain all of the book’s contents are true.
Tur made a Freudian slip during her interview with Wolff that seemingly echoed the feelings of many journalists.
“Um, the book has a lot of fantasy,” she accidentally said before trying to correct herself, “um, uh, uh, a lot of fascinating anecdotes and fascinating details.”
Despite the one slip, Tur told Wolff during the interview that the book “feels true” and congratulated him on the president hating the book.
Wow. Here’s how @KatyTurNBC just concluded her interview w/ Michael Wolff: “Congratulations on the book and congratulations on the president hating it.”
