The Atlanta chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People  (NAACP) is launching a protest Monday evening against President Donald Trump’s potential attendance of a national college football game.

The Monday protest, set to take place during the University of Atlanta vs. University of Georgia game, is focused on protesting Trump and his “racist” policies, Richard Rose, the NAACP Atlanta chapter president told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

The group is not only upset with recent Trump policies that they say hurt the environment and poor people, but it’s also upset with what it sees as a history of racism on the part of the president.

“It’s his denial of the legitimacy of the previous president demonstrates his racism and his association with white nationalists and defending the continued celebration of the confederacy, which was a failed insurrection against America,” Rose told TheDCNF.

The game plan, according to Rose, is for people to wear white to the game and wave a white flag at any mention of Trump during the game. Wearing white is not only to allow the protesters to stand out from a crowd probably wearing red and black to represent the teams playing, but to also take back the term “snowflake.”

“You know the right-wing calls all of us who protest against various things ‘snowflakes,’ so we’re trying to make this a snowflake twitter storm,” Rose explained to TheDCNF.

There’s also a hashtag campaign the group is starting by using #Don’tCome and #AllTrumpLiesATL. While other groups will be outside the stadium protesting, the NAACP Atlanta chapter will not, emphasizing they only participate in non-confrontational protests.

And what do they hope the president will learn from the protest?

“We want him to hear that we will not be dissuaded and we will not be accepting of his policies. We want the Congress to understand that most of America does not agree with this president,” Rose told TheDCNF.
