The New York Fire Department responded to the report of a fire at Trump Tower in New York City Monday morning.
A small electrical fire in a cooling tower on the rooftop of the iconic building ignited and smoke could be seen coming off the rooftop of the iconic building. NYFD flooded the street and rooftop, extinguishing the fire “within minutes” according to the president’s son Eric Trump, who was working in the building.

The fire was out but flames were still coming from commenters online. Many joked about the building being on fire.
But Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show’ took the cake, asking if the white smoke from the tower means Trump has replaced Melania as a new first lady. The joke, based on the tradition of the white smoke that comes from the rooftop of the Vatican after the selection of a new Pope, went like this:
