Tonight is the night for which football fans across America have waited an entire year.

I could sit here and talk about how UCF has arguably won the championship, how the playoff committee royally screwed up or how the SEC’s strength of schedule in conference play has become a joke among college football insiders. I could easily sit here and talk about all those things, and I know lots of people want me to. However, I’m not going to focus on all those talking points.

Instead, I’m going to focus on the positive. It’s been a fun college football season, and it all ends tonight. I don’t really care who wins this game. We should all just be hoping that it’s good.

Having said that, I expect Alabama to blow Georgia off of the field. This one could get ugly really fast. A freshman quarterback that isn’t mobile against the Tide’s defense doesn’t leave a lot of optimism for Georgia fans.

I’ll have a full season wrap at some point tomorrow. I’m going to need some time to soak up the past few months of actions, and take a look back at everything we saw this season. For right now let’s all just rejoice in the fact tonight is championship Monday.

That’s a reason to celebrate.
