January Jones and former “Bachelor” star Nick Viall are officially dating.
The two have been together for about two months, according to a source close to the new couple. Viall was previously engaged to “Bachelor” contestant Vanessa Grimaldi but the couple split several months after filming rapped. Grimaldi insists that she is “happy happy happy #happy,” which sounds like someone who is definitely happy after their engagement was called off.
“They’ve been dating for about two months. She went on ‘The Late Show’ in mid-November and said Nick had reached out to her and tried to get her to lip-sync battle with him. She declined, but then he asked her out to a drink and she accepted. They’ve been seeing each other since,” a source close to the couple said.
Now I’ll admit, I don’t know everything there is to know about dating. But this seems pretty clear cut. January Jones expressed clear interest in Nick Viall. The natural next step after that would be to ask her out to drinks or dinner. Not a stupid lip syncing contest. If you’re trying to get a girl to never speak to you again then sure, invite her to a lip syncing contest. But not if you’re trying to impress her. That may be the worst approach on the face of the earth.
