Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is reportedly willing to share anything and everything with special counsel Robert Mueller, a source close to him tells Axios.

“He can say whatever the hell he wants to say to him about whatever topic that he wants,” the source said, despite Bannon’s decision not to share information with Congress. Bannon reportedly refused to cooperate with the House Intelligence committee Monday during nearly 10.5 hours of testimony.

Bannon cited executive privilege invoked by The White House, shielding any of his private communications with President Donald Trump. His refusal to cooperate with congressional investigators brought widespread criticism from representatives present in the meeting.

The New York Times reported Monday that Bannon will also be interviewed by Mueller for his investigation into Russian interference of the 2016 presidential election. The subpoena followed Bannon’s comments to author Michael Wolff which have surfaced in recent days. These comments include a personal insult of Ivanka Trump’s intelligence and a suggestion that Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer offering information on then candidate Hillary Clinton was “treasonous.”

“Mueller will hear everything Bannon has to say,” a strikingly similar source told The Daily Beast.
