Drew Carey took quite a tumble when an overly excited contestant knocked him to the ground Wednesday during “The Price Is Right.”
Carey called out the winning bid during the preliminary round. Then the contestant Sona ran on stage and hugged Carey as she jumped up and down, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground. (RELATED: Drew Carey To Host Fundraiser For Gary Johnson)
He almost fell off the stage altogether.
The contestant also fell down, but both appeared to be unharmed.
“Hey everybody,” Carey said after the fall. “I’m fine.”
The show announcer, George, couldn’t help himself and had to comment on the shocking incident.
“Sona, do not break the host or our set,” the announcer joked.
This isn’t the first time Carey has had to deal with an overzealous contestant. Mediaite reports that an excited contestant picked up the host and spun him around before dropping him onto the ground.
