Years after David Copperfield was first accused of sexual assault, another woman has come forward with new claims against the world-famous magician.

Former aspiring model Brittney Lewis detailed her allegations in an interview with The Wrap published Wednesday in which she claims Copperfield drugged and raped her when she was 17 years old.

“I remember my clothes being taken off,” Lewis recalls. “He was kissing my face and then I remember him starting to go down on my body with his face,” she added. “And then, as soon as he started going down, I just completely blacked out.”

According to Lewis, she and Copperfield first met when he was judging a modeling competition she was competing in. The two exchanged numbers and Copperfield later arranged for her to fly out to California to attend one of his shows after asking Lewis’ grandmother for permission since she was a minor.

Lewis ended up attending the show and meeting up with Copperfield afterwards for drinks when Lewis claimed the illusionist slipped something into her drink which later caused her to blackout.

“I asked, ‘What are you doing?’ and he said, ‘Oh, I’m just sharing,'” she told The Wrap.

The next morning Lewis remembers Copperfield trying to convince her that nothing happened and even telling her “I didn’t enter you.” Lewis also claims the magician, who was 32 at the time, insisted she sign a letter saying she was OK after the encounter.

The former model revealed to The Wrap that she came forward with her claims in the past and even provided an official statement to the FBI but never heard back.

According to The Wrap, Copperfield didn’t return a request for comment on their story but he did post a lengthy statement on Twitter in an apparent response to Lewis’ allegations.

In it, he addressed previous claims against him, pledged his support to the #MeToo movement and warned people what false accusations to do to it.

“I’ve lived with years of news reports about me being accused of fabricated, heinous acts, with few telling the story of the accuser getting arrested, and my innocence,” Copperfield wrote. “Knowing that false accusers can negatively impact the believability of others and are a true disservice to those who have been victims of sexual misconduct, I didn’t draw attention to it.”

“So while I weather another storm, I want the movement to continue to flourish,” he added. “Always listen, and consider everything carefully, but please for everyone’s sake don’t rush to judgement.”
