President Donald Trump blasted Democratic minority leader Chuck Schumer in a Friday tweet for outright dismissing any funding for a wall along the US-Mexico border.
DACA has been made increasingly difficult by the fact that Cryin’ Chuck Schumer took such a beating over the shutdown that he is unable to act on immigration!

Schumer vowed Wednesday to not allow funding for a border wall in any DACA fix saying “god forbid, but the pictures of people being deported will rally the nation, and these more mainstream Republicans — admittedly, not a majority of the Republican Party. But enough, when they add them to Democrats, could pass the bill.”
Trump has repeatedly made clear that any bill to codify Obama-era protections for illegal immigrants into law must be accompanied by full funding for a border wall, an end to chain migration, and an end to the diversity visa lottery program.
The White House’s demands were revealed to Congress Thursday in a legislative “framework” on immigration which provides “legal status for DACA recipients and other DACA-eligible illegal immigrants, adjusting the time-frame to encompass a total population of approximately 1.8 million individuals,” in exchange for a 25 billion dollar border wall.
Trump has underscored to Schumer and other democratic lawmakers that if there is no funding for a border wall then a legislative fix for the illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children is a non starter.
