New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady ended a radio interview Monday morning with WEEI over comments previously made about his daughter.

Brady has appeared Mondays on WEEI for years, but that could all be coming to an end after WEEI host Alex Reimer called his daughter a “pissant,” when referencing Tom Brady’s documentary “Tom vs. Time.”

Brady appeared on the station Monday, but not for very long.

“I’ll obviously evaluate whether I want to come on this show again, so I really don’t have much to say this morning. So, maybe I’ll speak with you guys some other time,” the five time Super Bowl champion said on “Kirk & Callahan” before signing off. Reimer has been suspended for his comments, which can be heard in the video below.

This Reimer guy sounds like an absolute idiot, and Brady has every right to be upset. I think any dad would be if a radio host publicly called his child a “pissant.”

Going after athletes is one thing. We all do it, I do it and it’s a normal part of the sports world. That’s never going to change, and it should never change. Athletes know what they’re getting involved in when they sign the dotted lines of their multimillion dollar contracts.

Going after somebody’s kids is a different story. The children didn’t sign up for anything at all. They didn’t ask to be part of that world, they don’t sign the contracts, they don’t play the games and they don’t deserve to be targeted by a Boston radio host.

Reimer should be embarrassed with himself, and Brady had every right in the world to cut off that interview. I wouldn’t even have called in.
