Melania Trump is looking forward to attending the State of the Union Tuesday night and getting the opportunity to sit with “heroes.”

“I will be joined tonight by an honorable group of Americans. Sitting with me are heroes who have served our nation in times of need, families who have suffered at the hands of evil, and citizens who have embraced the American dream. #SOTU,” the first lady captioned her post she shared on Instagram. As noted by several outlets, her appearance at the president’s address will be her first public outing following reports about her husband allegedly having an affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels.

On Monday, the New York Times reported that the first lady was “blindsided” by reports that alleged Daniels was paid $130,000 to keep quiet about the alleged affair.

Last week, Melania made an unscheduled appearance at the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., in honor of “the millions of innocent lives lost” as she recognized International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

“We recognize International #HolocaustRemembranceDay so that #WeRemember all the innocent men, women, and children lost. May we continue to educate our children on one of history’s most devastating events and always #AskWhy,” the first lady captioned one clip she shared.

“Thank you @HolocaustMuseum for a powerful & moving tour that honors the millions of innocent lives lost, and educates us on the tragedies and effects of the holocaust. #weremember #askwhy,” she added, in a second post on her social media account with pictures from her visit to the museum.
