Amazon spent a whopping $15 million on its Super Bowl ad, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell.

Rovell tweeted Wednesday, “Amazon’s 90-second Super Bowl ad, that has a retail cost of more than $15 million, that will run in the fourth quarter on Sunday.”

You might think $15 million sounds like a ton of money, and it most certainly is. However, in this case I think it’s money well spent.

You’ll understand why once you see the commercial.

So, the two hands down best moments in that commercial are Gordon Ramsay and Anthony Hopkins making appearances. Ramsay is gold whenever he’s yelling at people in a kitchen. One of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen was “Hell’s Kitchen.”

Hopkins coming in and channeling a bit of “Westworld” was also great. Amazon obviously knows what shows are hot in the streets these days, and it doesn’t get much hotter than HBO’s hit “Westworld.”

Was this as great as Chris Pratt’s Michelob commercial or Danny DeVito for M&M’s? I’m not sure it was, but it’s still pretty funny.
