Netflix released the trailer for its new movie “The Week Of” Thursday morning.
The plot of the film, according to Netflix’s description, is, “When two very different fathers (Adam Sandler and Chris Rock) come together for their children’s wedding, everything that could go wrong, does. Watch the hilarious hijinks as the two try to keep everything afloat, while dealing with their families… and each other. Before they get to the big day, they have to go through a long week.”
I’m not feeling exactly great about this movie, and that’s a shame. Any movie with two titans of comedy should be outstanding. Did anybody watching that and get the sense it’d be incredible?
It just seems like these two made some lame comedy about a wedding. I mean, even Steve Buscemi made an appearance in trailer, and I still got nothing out if it. The whole trailer was disappointing from start to finish.
Truly a shame because I think we all would expect much better. “The Week Of” is scheduled to be released April 27.
