Former Oklahoma superstar quarterback Baker Mayfield sounded very open to playing for Cleveland when asked about the topic.

“I’ve always been a big fan of big challenges and adversity in my life, so absolutely,” the Heisman-winning quarterback told TMZ Sports when asked recently if he’d want to play for the Cleveland Browns.

I’m sure Mayfield would really want to get picked by Cleveland too because there is a massive salary difference between getting picked at the beginning or end of the first round. About $20 million dollars worth of a difference. That’s not exactly pennies by anybody’s standards.

He also has the unique chance to change the culture in Cleveland, which might be a nearly impossible task. The Browns losing is almost as certain as me getting shot down by the first smoke show blonde I spot at the bar. You can bet the house on it. Turning that kind of franchise around will take lots of time, commitment and a certain amount of luck.

If there’s one guy with enough confidence to get the job done, it very well could be Mayfield.
