Former vice president Joe Biden called President Trump a “joke” in an interview excerpt aired on CNN Tuesday.
He also said that Trump and Republicans criticizing the FBI was a “disaster.”

“What do you think they’re thinking in Moscow? This is doing everything that Putin ever wanted,” Biden said.
“Sowing doubt about whether or not our justice system is fair. Sowing doubt about whether or not there is anything remotely consistent with our Constitution. It just is a disaster,” he added.
Biden also remarked on President Trump openly joking on Monday about whether Democrats are “treasonous” for not applauding good economic news during the State of the Union. (RELATED: Trump Targets Democrats Who Wouldn’t Stand At State Of The Union — ‘Shall We Call That Treason? Why Not?’)
“I just marvel at some of the things he says and does. Like, what, two days ago, anybody who didn’t stand up and clap for him was un-American and then maybe even treasonous?”
“They say it was tongue in cheek. Democrats can’t take a joke,” CNN’s Chris Cuomo said.
“Well let me tell–he’s a joke,” Biden responded.
