CNN’s Chris Cuomo urged former Vice President Joe Biden to run for president in 2020 during an exclusive interview.

Cuomo, who claims to hold himself to a higher journalistic standard than the “pundits, not journalists,” at Fox News, had no problem fawning over Biden and telling him to run for president on Wednesday. (RELATED: Chris Cuomo Fancies Himself A Serious Journalist)
“We’ve got a lot of talented people in the Democratic Party,” Biden said when asked about his plans for 2020. “And I’m looking for some of these guys to come along.”
“Who’s better than you?” Cuomo pined.
“Your father was better than me,” Biden responded, prompting Cuomo to become emotional.
“Listen, don’t make me get upset,” Cuomo responded, his eyes looking down. “You know how Pop felt about you, you know you guys represent the same things, and I’m not saying the country would embrace you and I’m not saying you would win, but how do you not run for president?”
“How do you not?” he asked exasperatedly.
