Lindsey Vonn has been the face of the United States Olympic ski team for years, but there’s a new sensation that’s about to take over on the slopes: Mikaela Shiffrin.
You may remember Shiffrin from the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi where she took home the gold medal in the women’s slalom when she was just 18 years old. Now, four years later, she’s heading into her second Olympic Games as the best female Alpine ski racer in the world and she’s poised to take home a few more gold medals if all goes well.
