Australian politician Tim Watts recently went off during a session of parliament over Philadelphia 76ers star rookie Ben Simmons not getting a nomination.

Simmons, who is from Australia, is having an outstanding season, but it still wasn’t enough. Watts wasn’t having any of it as he preached to the chamber.

“In a record breaking rookie year for the Philadelphia 76ers Ben is currently averaging nearly 17 points, eight rebounds and seven assists per game. He’s already had five triple doubles, and frankly, no one with two brain cells to rub together would want Goran Dragic on their team,” Watt said.

This is how you know America owns the world when it comes to sports. A politician on the other side of the world is going wild because a dude from his country got snubbed from the all-star game. Do you see politicians in America ever going nuts over sports in other countries?

Of course not because why would we waste our time ever focusing on the sports in other places. We have the best sports, the best booze, the best women and the best sports atmospheres on the planet.

It’s the truth, and anybody who disagrees is probably a communist.
