Today is Wisconsin Day, and that’s a reason to celebrate.

I’m a very humble person, and really hate shining a light on myself or my people. However, I’ll make a minor exception in this case because it’s the one time of the year when we get to remind the rest of the country that we’re the best.

The people of Wisconsin are simply cut from a different cloth than everybody else. We’re born with a spirit and a championship mentality that few will ever understand and even fewer will experience.

We drink our beer colder than everybody else, our college atmospheres are untouchable, our Midwestern women are better looking than yours and we rage so hard that seven of the top 10 drunkest cities in America are all in Wisconsin. Yeah, we party. No big deal. We try not to rub it in the faces of others that we rip shots, chug beers and tear bars to the ground. We like to call that a Wednesday afternoon where I’m from.

Oh, did I mention we have enough weapons to invade a country in the Middle East? We absolutely do.

See, I could brag about all this, but we’re also extremely down to earth people. Do we have to remind the world that our weather is truly four beautiful seasons? No we don’t, but sometimes it casually gets referenced in passing.

I’m not even a Packers fan, but the loyal Green Bay fanbase is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Don’t even get me started on the Wisconsin Badgers. We’re willing to shed blood for those men and women in our uniforms. We’ll play any team, any time and anywhere. We back down to nobody.

I guess while we’re on the subject of Wisconsin, I should probably mention that our countrysides are some of the most beautiful you’ll ever see. I’m not sure if it’s Wisconsin or honestly Heaven.

My apologies to everybody who didn’t live in the greatest state in America.
