MSNBC’s Chris Hayes Accuses Trump Of Exploiting Florida High School Shooting

MSNBC host Chris Hayes accused President Donald Trump of exploiting the Florida high school shooting to shield his administration from answering questions at Wednesday’s White House press briefing.

WATCH:

“Is the WH really hiding behind a school shooting so they don’t have to answer questions about a host scandals in the administration?” Hayes tweeted. “Kinda looks like that’s what’s happening.”

Hayes later deleted his tweet, but it can be viewed below.

The White House had originally scheduled Wednesday’s session for 1:00 pm ET. It was rescheduled several times, and was slated to begin at 4:00 pm ET when news of the shooting first broke, at which point the White House eventually canceled the briefing. President Trump is aware of the situation and lent his “prayers and condolences” to the victims on Twitter.

Authorities have confirmed multiple casualties and estimate that the total number of injured currently sits around 50.
