Female comedian and “Trainwreck” actress Amy Schumer reportedly got married this weekend without any of the general public finding out.

According to a report by US Weekly, Schumer married chef Chris Fischer – who’s in charge of the Beetlebung Farm in Martha’s Vineyard. The couple has only known each other for a couple of months but decided to take the plunge on Tuesday in a rented house near Malibu.

Shcumer later confirmed the news on her Instagram, posting several photos from the day with the simple caption, “Yup.”

Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston, Larry David, David Spade, and Jake Gyllenhaal apparently all made an appearance.

“It was a very chill wedding. It was thrown together last minute,” an insider told US Weekly. “Most of the guests found out the wedding was happening on Tuesday from a text message sent out by Amy on Sunday. It was like, ‘Hey, this is happening. If you can make it, great. If not, no worries.’ People were in and out all night. It was a gorgeous day. Everyone was having a good time.”

It’s no surprise that the wedding seemed thrown together. Schumer and Fischer had only known each other for a short time and only confirmed their relationship on Instagram this weekend.

Schumer later told her fans not to send wedding gifts but instead consider donating to Everytown, an organization that works to reform gun laws and prevent gun violence.

It’s pretty surprising that Amy Schumer – a close friend of Lena Dunham’s with an often offensively crass sense of humor – was able to find somebody compatible. As recently as 2015, she told Barbara Walters that she didn’t “know how realistic” marriage or kids were for her.

“I would love those things, but I don’t really see it for myself,” she said.

But if Lena Dunham can be in long term relationships and Amy Schumer can get married, all things seem possible.
