A trail derailment near Attica, N.Y. Thursday caused multiple cars to fall off the track and catch fire, Spectrum News Buffalo reports.

Emergency officials are securing the scene, including the local fire department to put out the fire. The train’s engineer is being treated at a nearby hospital for a broken leg, a possible broken ankle and a gash to his head. The conductor was also on board, though his condition is unknown, according to Rochester First.

Norfolk Southern, the company that owns the train, says there were no hazardous materials in the cargo. Officials have not given a reason for the derailment.

The train appeared to be carrying automobiles, WHEC reports.
