Lamar Odom may have a host of his own problems but that’s not stopping him from trying to tell other people how to run their lives.

The former Laker was spotted outside an airport this weekend when he was asked if he had any advice for Johnny Manziel, who’s trying to make a comeback in the NFL after his struggle with addiction and bipolar disorder.

“Just put – uh – a higher power first,” Odom said. “He’ll be alright. Whoever his god may be.”

Asked whether he thinks Manizel has it in him to bounce back, Odom responded, “He’s really talented…Life is like that. I’m a big time fan.”

Well, that about settles it then. Lamar Odom believes in Johnny Manziel. The guy must be saved. Things were really starting to look grim for Johnny Football but now that Lamar believes in him he’s as good as gold.

Pretty hysterical that Lamar Odom of all people is doling out free life advice to addicts. He is, after all, the guy who ended up in a coma after overdosing in a brothel alone. It would be one thing if Lamar was clean now and actually spent time helping other athletes kick their addictions. But he’s routinely spotted at strip clubs, normal clubs, bars, and everywhere in between. I’m not saying he’s not allowed to have a good time, but when you almost die in 2015 and are spotted face down in a bar two years later, you’re probably not a good guy to be taking life advice from.

Besides, Johnny Football is going to be just fine. He’s been seen practicing again and claims to be getting his life back on track.

Lamar’s probably a better fan than an AA sponsor anyway.
