Former UCLA superstar quarterback Josh Rosen’s NFL outlook didn’t look great in ESPN analyst Mel Kiper’s latest mock draft.
Rosen spent pretty much the entire college football season as the first or second NFL prospect in the eyes of most NFL scouts. Well, times sure are changing because Kiper currently has him slotted at 11th to the Miami Dolphins.
I think Kiper is insane here. There is a better chance I’m dating and engaged to a Victoria’s Secret Angel by the end of the week than there is that Rosen slips out of the top 10.
The only way I see that happening is if teams found out something that the rest of the world hasn’t, and that’s not likely considering it almost certainly would have leaked. I get there are concerns about Rosen’s commitment to the game, and whether or not he truly loves football. Those are all legit concerns. Even so, I would take Rosen in the top five.
He can make all the throws, can read defenses and is extremely intelligent. Kiper is going to look like a clown on draft day.
