Feminist writer Lauren Duca responded to the death of evangelical Christian preacher Billy Graham Wednesday by saying that he should “have fun in hell.”

Duca presumably reacted this way due to Graham’s beliefs on gay marriage and homosexuality.

Even former President Barack Obama wrote a respectful message on his Twitter about Graham’s passing:

Obama’s tweet led to many liberals responding with snarky and nasty messages. Some called him a “piece of shit,” a “homophobe” and said that he “vehemently hated LGBTQ people.” (RELATED: Liberals Furious After Obama Praises Billy Graham)

Graham was 99 years old when he passed away Wednesday. Civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr. said in a quote featured on Graham’s memorial website, “Had it not been for the ministry of my good friend Dr. Billy Graham, my work in the civil rights movement would not have been as successful as it has been.” (RELATED: Billy Graham, One Of The Most Famous Preachers Of All Time, Dies At 99)
