Winfrey said, “Those kids need to organize because this is the moment. This is exactly what happened in the Civil Rights movement, from people like John Lewis and Diane Nash, they were 18, 19, 20-years-old, young people who said, ‘We’ve had enough. Enough.’ And these kids are right there.”

This comes on the heels of Winfrey making a $500,000 donation to the pro-gun control “March For Our Lives” protest. (RELATED: Oprah Just Threw Some Serious Support Behind The Gun-Control Debate)

The protest is being organized by the students who survived the mass shooting.

President Trump recently went after the former talk show host, tweeting, “Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!” (RELATED: Trump Slams ‘Very Insecure Oprah Winfrey’)
