Movie star, standup comedian, and now artist, Jim Carrey has posted several images of his politically charged illustrations to his twitter account.

The 56-year-old has had a prolific career as a comedy actor, starring in hit films “The Truman Show,” “Ace Ventura,” “Dumb and Dumber” and several other acclaimed titles. Recently, however, it appears he has turned his attention to creating his mixed-media-politically-influenced artworks.

Carrey’s most recent piece depicts a school girl laying bloody on the American flag with the caption “Oh say, can’t you see?!”; a clear commentary on the gun debate that spawned from the massacre in Parkland, Fla.
